Welcome to our calm room designed for registered individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Before you proceed to use the calm room, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Eligibility: The calm room is exclusively for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who have registered with us. By using this room, you confirm that you have registered with us and are eligible to use this room.
- Use of the room: The calm room is intended to provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals with autism to decompress and calm down from overstimulating situations. Kindly keep the room clean and tidy after use; and do not remove any calm down kits (eg: sensory toys, pillows etc) from the calm room.
- No eating and drinking in the calm room.
- Kindly remove your shoes before entering the calm room.
- Individuals with ASD must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times while using the calm room.
- Safety: The calm room is equipped with safety features, including an intercom and CCTV camera. You must not tamper with these features or engage in any behaviour that may pose a risk to your safety or the safety of others.
- Code of conduct: You must conduct yourself in a respectful and appropriate manner while using the calm room. You must not engage in any behaviour that is disruptive, violent or inappropriate.
- Liability: We do not accept any liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while you are using the calm room.
- The use of the calm room is subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to terminate your use of the calm room at any time if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions or engage in any behaviour that may pose a risk to your safety or the safety of others.
