Worn by legends and styled by icons, New Era is the headwear brand that every sport and fashion enthusiast should know. Established in the 1920s in Buffalo, New York, the brand has come a long way since its debut; most notably their Fitted 59FIFTY Style Caps. At the time (1950s), New Era was the only independent cap maker who supplied to big league baseball teams such as the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and more. Now, New Era is only growing bigger, better, and closer to our homes. Nestled within the town centre of Seberang Jaya, Penang, New Era has officially opened its latest branch at Sunway Carnival Mall. Offering a wide range of collections, the New Era set up will have fans and newcomers of the brand excited for what’s in store. Tapping into the local scene, New Era has collaborated with several iconic influencers, artists and brands within the region such as Joe Flizzow, Zizan Razak, GILA-GILA, Mamee and more! New Era has also brought in some interesting exposure for the local community by celebrating everyone’s diversity with caps that represented their identity during their 59FIFTY Day featuring local artists, local stylists, dancers and cap crew. With the new opening at Sunway Carnival Mall, everyone will be able to have their hands on New Era’s iconic pieces and be able to keep a piece of history for themselves.
